We have too much fast food and more medicine but less health.

We have learnt to rush but not to wait.
We laugh too little. Get angry too quickly.
We get up too late. Read too little.
We watch too much TV. And are less considerate.
We talk too much, love too little and lie too often.

We learned how to make a living but not how to live.
We have years to live but can’t add years to life.
We multiplied our properties and estates but we reduced our values and morals.

We have more experts but more problems.
We use phone, emails, MSN too often but have less personal communication…
We write more but learn less.
We plan more but finish less.
We have more quantity than quality.

We have higher buildings but lower tempers.
We have wider streets but more narrow points of view.
We went all the way to the moon and back, yet we can’t cross the street to meet our neighbours.
We have split up atoms but can’t break down our prejudices.

Start from today, don’t “save” anything for “special occasions”.
Treat everyday as a special occasion instead.

Start from today, spend more time with your family and friends.
Tell your family and friends how much you love them.

Look for realization, read more. Sit and enjoy the view.
Eat your favorite food and visit places you love.
Drink from your finest crystal glasses, eat from your good china.
Don’t save up your best perfume or cologne, use it everyday instead.

Erase expressions like “later”, “some other time” and “not now” from your vocabulary.
Don’t hesitate to allow the laughter and joy into your life.
Realize that every day, every hour and every minute is unique.
Life is about moments of joy, not moments of survival.

Will you share this message with somebody you like and care about?
Don’t tell yourself you’ll share it “later”.
If you do I guarantee you won’t share it “later”.

What do I mean with this?

What I’m actually saying is, when you can give out first, you will gain even more after your initial action…

There are many paid survey companies will pay you for your opinions, to review their websites or to try their new products.

Taking surveys online is a legitimate way to earn money on the internet and I have experienced receiving paychecks from survey websites myself.

What I need to do is to give my honest opinions to the questions asked by the companies, and I get paid because the companies eventually benefit hugely from my opinions. They can further refine their products or services before releasing to the market…

Having tried a few survey sites, I would say that most sites really give you for what you pay for. Quite naturally my first experiences were with free survey sites, but their compensation was in the form of sweepstakes which I never won any. Some survey sites reward you with prizes, vouchers or even simply entry into draws. I then joined a paid survey site and started to receive surveys that paid me every time I completed one of them. Earning money is my only goal, especailly in this recession period!

Frankly speaking, there are no free lunch in the world. So you will not expect you could make decent money with those free servey sites. And that’s why in order to get good paid for taking sureys, I joined a paid survey site by paying a small one-time membership fee and I can then get started straight away. I don’t mind paying that as long as I can earn it back within a day or two. They then collect my profile and then I am able to start taking surveys. Comparing with free survey sites, I prefer the paid survey ones because making extra good money is my only goal!

However bear in mind that, making money with surveys is possible but not an easy business by any means. Although you will get paid for each survey you do, but if you treat this as your main income source, then your income will depend entirely on the number of surveys you completed and their types. In short, the more surveys you have completed the more you can earn. Also, a longer survey or one that has more open-ended questions will usually pay more. So, if you treat it like a real business and dedicate time to work on it every day, you can start earning a decent income from home easily.

In my case (semi-retiring), I can choose the times I complete the surveys, and I can choose to do more or less based on my own schedule. I am happy that I am able to earn a supplementary income to my family from the comfort of my home.

By making money with surveys, you don’t need any technical skills or experience to use these survey sites and there are no risks involved. Depending on how much you put into this, paid surveys could really help contribute towards your financial security and more.

I make around $20 to $40 every day by taking surveys depending on my schedule. Also, I don’t take every survey they sent me. I would choose those I am interested in. Although the income from this activity is small (on my schedule) for a daily income basis but it will become big by the end of the month, at least it can contribute more to my whole family income especially in this serious recession moment…

Well, what do I mean with this?

This actually means:

If you drink enough water everyday, then you will NOT have any water weight problem. It sounds somehow ridiculous but it is true and proved.

The reason behind is actually quite simple:

If you drink enough water, the water will help you boost your metabolism rate and in turn this effect will minimize your chance of becoming overweight.

However, if you frequently do not drink enough water, your body “knows” your “bad habit” and it would start to “save” the water in your body whenever you drink in next time. Consequently, you will have the so-called “water weight” problem and that would in turn cause you an overweight problem.

So, if you don’t want any water weight problem, quite simple, drink more and enough water – but like eating foods, never overdrink water as well.

Bear in mind that, always drink and eat properly and you will have good health and fit. 🙂

To help me and my teenage daughter succeed in losing weight, I think “balance” and “persistency” are the two keys.

To lose weight, we had tried many different methods like on diet, exercises – in short those common ways that everybody would use. However we were failed with all those attempts.

We were succeeded to lose weight after we have followed a weight control program. And we have learned that to lose weight is not as hard as most people thought. The keys are to eat balanced food and persist this practice. Effect will be achieved sooner or later so long as we don’t give up. Most people found them failed losing weight because they gave up too early with each method.

Frankly speaking, there is really no secret to lose weight. Eat properly and do proper exercise are the keys to lose weight and also are the keys to maintain what you have gained thereafter.

Most people put off themselve too soon when they see the word “exercise”. Indeed, according to our weight loss experience, exercise is not a must but it is a better element if you wish to achieve a better result.

The program we used works in this way:

We were first told to choose a set of our favourite foods from a big list of foods it showed. These food covering both meat and vegetable – our basic food components anyway, right?

Based on our choices, the program generated a set of menus and we would follow to eat in the coming two weeks.

“Eat and enjoy” were the two key points we need to bear in mind, the program told.

Obviously, the program used our choices to calculate all the calories we need for our everyday use – never think that you don’t need to eat any calories even when you are to lose weight!

After the calculation, in each day’s menu, we need to eat 4 meals (not 3!). However we were allowed to eat in any order for these four menus as long as we must eat 4 times a day! Even good, within each menu, we could choose to eat any suggested food and in any portion but we had to stop eating when we started to feeling full. This sounded simple enough for us to follow and we found it fun to eat in such way.

After two weeks of eating with the suggested menus, we came to a stage of what the program called a “cheat-day period”. In these 3-day cheat period, we were allowed to eat any food we wish (no more suggested menus from the program) even junk food!

According to the program’s explanation, our “messy eating” were to cheat our body’s metabolism process. Here we need to understand that our metabolism would act according to how we have been eating fat and how we start to eating slim…etc.

So, after these 3 cheat day period, we ate again with another set of menus and thus the program could regulate again our metabolism rate back to a normal level. The effect in turn boosts up our weight loss speed!

By eating in such ways, we found we had really gained the weight loss effect! More importantly, we didn’t find any adnormal happenings within our body whereas we felt even better before we used this program! I don’t know how to describe it but it was our feeling. Most obvious was, we used to find tiring quite easy, but now, with proper eating, we found we were much energetic!

Over the course of following this program, we found the program has helped us change our eating habit somehow. This change caused a change to our living style as well. All in all, the changes are good to us and we now enjoy eating even more than before.
